Real Estate Legends to Appear at Business & Professional Group’s Annual Event

Maximizing return on a real estate investment takes not only business savvy but the right connections. Mark Renbaum is the CEO of Schwaber Holdings, LLC, a commercial and retail real estate investment management company. Its properties include Yorkridge Shopping Center, 6300 York Road Shopping Center and Pulaski Crossing.

Renbaum also chairs the Real Estate Industry Committee of THE ASSOCIATED’s Business and Professionals Group. He says being part of the Business and Professionals Group has made him a part of something successful and has been integral in building business connections.

“The Business & Professionals Group has allowed me the opportunity to interact and meet with professionals outside my immediate network,” says Renbaum. “Equally important is the fact that I am able to give back to a community that has given me so much and volunteering is one of the best ways to say thank you.”

Renbaum’s current endeavor is the Business and Professionals Group’s Annual Event, which showcases real estate legends of Baltimore. Renbaum secured the speakers and venue at the Lyric Opera House, aimed at providing cross-industry networking for developers, investors, brokers, lawyers, lenders, contractors, property managers and architects, among others.

“This is an opportunity for members of the greater business community to hear firsthand, in a unique and interactive setting, from some of the community’s most successful and time-tested real estate entrepreneurs on what it takes to succeed in the real estate business and in life,” Renbaum says. “Each of them has a unique story and there are sure to be stories from each of our special guests that will resonate with everyone in attendance.”

In previous years, nearly 200 people have attended the Annual Event. Discounted online registration for this year’s event closes on May 15, 2012; walk-ins are welcome.
