We all know the value of a good book, but for students in Baltimore City whose library shelves are scant it is hard for them to appreciate the worth of a quality piece of literature. The Weinberg Foundation and Baltimore Reads are trying to change that. During the month of March, the Weinberg Foundation is partnering with area non-profits and businesses to gather and provide thousands of new books for four renovated Baltimore City Public School libraries as well as classroom and home libraries! How can you help?
Donate your favorite books for kids ages 3 to 14 at one of the dozens of area drop-off locations throughout the Baltimore metropolitan area, including THE ASSOCIATED and both Jewish Community Centers. For more information, visit at www.baltimorelibraryproject.org.
